I’d like to believe they’ll follow through. 🙄 But even best case scenario, it’s gonna take more than two years to investigate, prosecute, with the sheer volume of crimes and corruption. And even then… the damage won’t be undone in my lifetime.

This is exactly it. He’s hoping to brand as much as he can while he’s alive. The Kennedy center was a huge blow to his ego. He’ll use the board to gild the whole thing so it’ll cost millions to undo.

Quite literally

It takes a lot to get through to people. I don’t know how you raise kids and make ends meet on $9 an hour and also pay attention to politics. There are so many layers of systemic failure here that to blame each and every individual is only recognizing half the problem.

I mean yeah we’re a wealthy nation and we’re lazy, ignorant, and complacent but we’re also overworked, underpaid, and victimized

Maybe something about watching your neighbor’s kids ziptied and used as bait to snatch their mom who’s been working her ass off

Might not sit well with folks who thought their bills should be lower
